The Potjevleesh, which literally means potted meat, is a terrine of four jellied meats (chicken, pork, rabbit, veal) which has been eaten for a long time in Flanders, especially around Dunkirk.
Accompanied with fries and salad, the Potjevleesch is most often the main course. It is also a very popular entremet during copious meal: family celebrations, weddings, communions or fairs.
